Re-launchers free digital skills places announced

We are delighted to announce that we have secured funding from the Education and Skills Funding Agency and the European Social Fund so that we can offer free places on our Digital Gum skills training. So, if you are looking to relaunch your career after a gap we have the perfect course for you.

We know that making the leap back into the world of work can sometimes feel a bit daunting, that’s why we created Digital Gum, to give you the digital confidence to start your relaunch journey. Join us for a four week part time course to re-discover you, learn some new skills and connect with people on the same journey as you. There will also be a real-life charity project to give you the opportunity to apply your digital & work ready skills.

But don’t take our word for it, have a read on our blog page about some of the students who have completed our courses.

We'd love you to join us on your digital journey. The course runs twice a week, the total study hours are 16 hours online facilitated learning with a tutor and hands-on project homework. The subjects covered on the course are:

  • Introduction to social media marketing and how it’s used in business

  • New apps used by the digital community to win new customers

  • SEO – why should we care?

  • Data visualisation tools to make stats look beautiful

  • Web content management & build your own website tools

  • Employability Skills including: the magical art of CV writing, how not to mess it up in the first five minutes of an interview & how to build an online profile to be attractive to prospective employers

  • Work on real life projects across the four weeks to use your learning in real life applications.

  • You will document your progress through a diary that will give you a digital footprint to showcase to prospective employers.
